Not long after Carter started day care at the age of 6 weeks, Carter needed emergency surgery on his intestines, which were twisted. She started with you all in the infant class and has continued her ‘care’ and ‘education’ through the present 2 year class. She is learning to become more and more independent daily. At only 2, she knows all of her colors, shapes, can count past ten and knows almost half of the alphabet. Your teachers do an excellent job reinforcing these “academic” concepts while she is in your daily care. She knows a NUMEROUS amount of Christian and nursery songs. She loves to sing along and knows what it means to bow your head in prayer… as she likes to bless our food at dinner time. She is learning positive social skills through her play time with “classmates” and through your gentle correction when she makes mistakes.”
